Title: Never an Empty Wallet
Text: Acts 3:1-10
Topic: Rediscovering the Good News of the Gospel
Teacher: David Gooding
How do you feel when you walk by a beggar or a homeless person? Are you moved with compassion? Do you feel pity? Do you wish there was something more that you could do? Do you take action?
When Peter and John pasted by a lame beggar on the way into the temple, they didn’t have much to offer him as far as the world is concerned. In fact, they were very blunt with the man and said, “We don’t have any silver or gold to give you…”
But…and there was a very big “but” in this conversation…they did have something to give the man and the good news is, so do we!
